Newcastle Raceway Club
February 2 – Racing enthusiasts, it is time to gear up for an evening of high-octane fun. The time has finally arrived for adrenaline fuelled races and family entertainment.
The Newcastle Raceway Club will be holding its first Oval Track racing event for the 2019 season, with the gates opening at 2pm, while racing is set to start at 6pm.
Entrance fee is R50 per adult, R25 for children under 12 years of age and R10 per car. A variety of stalls will also be available on the day.

Hack Attack Golf League
February 3 – The Hack Attack Golf League will be teeing off at 8am at Kilbarchan Golf Course.
The league will take place every first Sunday of the month, with courses alternating between Kilbarchan Golf Club, Newcastle Golf Club and Vulintaba Golf Course.
With the league promising to be a fun-filled event, be sure not to miss the first game of the season.

Amajuba Promotion Team to take on Dundee
February 3 – Cricket enthusiasts have much to look forward to this Sunday. The Amajuba Promotion Team will be taking on Dundee in a match of epic proportion.
Set to take place at Arbor Park Sports Grounds, the match will begin at 10am.
Be sure to show your support to the local players as they take on players from the neighbouring town of Dundee.
Valentine’s Dinner and Dance with Gordon Franks
February 16 – Love is in the air with a Valentine’s dinner and dance taking place at the Dundee Moth Hall.
Tickets are available for R250 per couple and R150 for the singles. A three-course dinner is included and a cash bar is available.
Adding to the night’s entertainment is internationally acclaimed guitar maestro and entertainer, Gordon Franks. Also performing on the night is local Dundee artists Mo Karim, Nash G, Philippa Lee (an exciting newcomer who performs and writes her own music), as well as the powerful singer Christine Williams. Classically trained young musicians from the Adonia Music Academy will also be performing.
