SAPS to target drug dealers
Drug dealers have nowhere to hide under the watchful eye of the SAPS.
On Thursday (January 18), oSizweni police clamped down on three alleged drug dealers.
During the arrest, drugs to the street value of R2 800 were confiscated.
The first two arrests took place in oSizweni, when oSizweni Crime Prevention Unit received information regarding a house in Section C.
Upon investigating, the unit recovered three parcels of dagga in the house and a live round for a 9mm pistol.
A 29-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested.
Both suspects were charged for possession of dagga and live ammunition.
Shortly after the arrest, the unit spotted two suspicious men in the Ebhareni area.
They were searched and one man was found with a staggering 15 mandrax tablets.
Further police investigations continue, but the suspects will appear in Madadeni Magistrate Court.
