Cricket was the order of the day, as Phoenix Cricket Club took on Asians Cricket Club on Saturday, February 9, at Arbor Park Sports Grounds.
Under ideal weather conditions, Phoenix elected to field first after winning the toss. Setting their sights on evaluating their opponents before taking to the pitch.
Asians managed to secure a score of 200 runs, for the loss of eight wickets. Setting a formidable target, Asians then set their sights on cutting Phoenix down.
However, Phoenix had a huge opening partnership between Henri Linde and Graham Sharp, who managed to secure 109 runs.
Graham went to score a staggering 100 runs, allowing Phoenix to win the match by five runs.
