Golfers teeing off for Ferrum Golf Day

Under ideal weather conditions, a vibrant energy surged through Newcastle Golf Club on Saturday, February 2. Avid golfers preparing to take on the Ferrum Golf Day.

Graham Sharp explains it is the first golf day the school has hosted. “It is a fund raiser for the school’s sports, and we have a full field of golfers,” he says.

The event proved to be well received by the golfing community. Each participant doing their part for sports development at the high school.

Sharp extends a further thanks to the community and Newcastle Golf Club for supporting the initiative.

With the golfers teeing off for a worthy cause, while enjoying a day on the greens, socialising with others, the Ferrum Golf Day is sure to become a highlight on Newcastle Sporting Calendar.
