Through immense effort, 14 learners succeeded in being selected in the Amajuba District Athletics Meeting. Drakensberg Primary is immensely proud of each learner which participated in the events.

Following Drakensberg Primary’s athletic achievements, St Dominics Newcastle hosted its annual Grade 7 tea on February 20.

The purpose of the Grade 7 tea is to allow Grade 7 learners from neighbouring schools in NKZN to visit St Dominics.

At the tea, the St Dominics learners showcase their school’s facilities and forge new friendships. The tea is followed by a tour of the school, allowing the visiting learners the chance to consider selecting St Dominics as their school of choice during their high school years.

Back: Steele Fenton of St Dominics, Harshil Ramdas of NSPS and Shahid Peerbhay of St Dominics. Front row: Husna Docrat of St Dominics Newcastle with Abigail Weber from Uelzen and Alwande Mlambo from Biggersberg.

The event was thoroughly enjoyed with two schools from Glencoe and three Newcastle schools visiting St Dominics.
