In the pursuit of justice, oSizweni SAPS is taking leaping strides in combating crime within their respective area.
This follows an intelligence-driven operation conducted by the oSizweni Policing Area with the assistance of oSizweni Crime Prevention unit.
Following up on information regarding drugs, the police officers went to a house in Dicks Halt. Upon searching the house, the officers recovered 29 small parcels of dagga, one full mandrax tablet and two quarter mandrax tablets.
Following the drug bust, the officers proceeded to Section A, oSizweni. On the public road, the officers searched an individual’s vehicle and recovered two number plates.
According to Newcastle SAPS spokesperson, the number plates are linked to a Dawsonville case, whereby a motor vehicle.
With one suspect in custody for drugs and another in custody for being in possession of suspected stolen number plates, the oSizweni SAPS is truly taking a bite out of crime.
