Motor vehicle enthusiasts are up for an extraordinary treat during the first weekend of July. Come Saturday, July 6, the Durban Dash will be driving through Newcastle.
The Durban Dash was created several years ago and sees participants drive from Randburg to Scottburgh for the Scottburgh Classic Car Show.
What makes the Durban Dash unique is that all forms of vehicles can participate in the event. With no rules on the type of vehicles allowed to enter the Durban Dash, the event promises to be a must-attend day out.
After all, the term vehicle covers any form of motorised road transport, from motorbikes and cars to tractors.
However, only pre-1975 vehicles can enter the Scottburgh Classic Car Show.
Before the Durban Dash participants depart and head to the Scottburgh Classic Car Show, they will be showcasing their cars at Amajuba Mall parking lot from 8 am until 10 am on July 6.
A truly unique event, the Old Hooters Club will be showcasing their vehicles alongside the Durban Dash participants.
The Newcastle community is invited to show their support and admire the various motor vehicles which will be on display.
