Are you ready? The Winter Festival is moments away

A sense of excitement fills the air, the wait has finally come to an end. The Winter Festival is but hours away.

As of tomorrow morning, April 25, the Winter Festival will open its gates, allowing Newcastillians to unwind and enjoy the biggest event on Newcastle’s Social Calendar.

With a variety of entertainment lined up, what are some of the stalls that residents can expect over the next three days?

Fed Auto will be displaying vehicles for car enthusiasts, while AON will be doing insurance, ATKV will be hosting the food and wine court.

Service organisations such as the SPCA, Child Welfare and Crisis Centre will be in attendance to raise awareness for their respective causes.

Guests can also look out for sewing machine stalls and a pet stall which will cater to animal lovers’ needs. For those who are looking at enhancing their natural beauty, be sure to look out for Sh’Zen and Honey.

For those who are looking for unique and beautiful furniture, Crane’s Nest Furniture will be in attendance. Majuba Glass and Aluminium will also be setting up a stall at the Winter Festival.

For those yearning to tantalise their taste buds, the Biltong Bar will be available for guests. Mugg and Bean will also be ensuring Winter Festival guests do not go hungry.

Fliber and Jenny Internet will be at the ready to help Newcastillians get connected to the online world, while Planet Fitness will be focusing on people’s fitness levels.

There will be an array of stalls, each catering to the community’s respective tastes. Whether its boerewors rolls, donuts, unique curios or even clothing, the Winter Festival stalls will have it all.

With these and other stalls available, there are also the artists to look forward to.

Ivan Roux, Demi Lee Moore and Dirk van der Westhuizen will jump-start the event on Thursday evening.

On Friday, April 26, Newcastillians can look forward to Janie Bay, Touch of Class, Ray Dylan, Jan Bloukas and Beatenberg.

On Saturday, April 27, DJ PSA, The Duchaz, Shekinah and Sjava will be bringing Newcastle to life.

Be sure to be a part of the Winter Festival over the next three days, with a wide variety of entertainment, stalls and a vibrant atmosphere, this is one event you do not want to miss.
